Understanding Rednote Delivery

Part 1: General

You can request delivery via the Request Delivery page on the Rednote website. This page can be accessed from the Main Menu or the Side Floating Menu.

Rednote users upload encrypted video messages, which are distributed and stored securely in the cloud. When a consignment is uploaded, recipients are notified. Upon meeting the delivery trigger, recipients can request access, and after verification, they receive a secure link to download the videos.

Yes, Rednote sends periodic reminders about consignments awaiting future delivery.

Once a delivery trigger is met, you can request delivery via the Rednote website using the Request Delivery form.

  • If the delivery trigger is death, all consignments are released after confirmation.
  • If the trigger is a specific condition, only consignments matching that condition will be delivered.

Rednote follows the sender’s predefined instructions to verify the request. This may involve contacting the sender or recipient. If verification fails, the system follows the sender’s chosen preference:

  • Proceed with delivery
  • Cancel the delivery

Yes, all videos are encrypted and stored securely across distributed cloud storages to ensure privacy.

No. Only the intended recipient can access the secure delivery link after verification.

You will receive an email with a secure link to download your video messages.

The secure link is valid for 60 days from the date of delivery. If you do not initiate a download within the first 30 days, you will receive a reminder email.

After 60 days, the videos are automatically deleted from Rednote’s cloud storage. A notification confirming deletion may be sent for audit purposes.

Part 2: Checking for Rednote Consignments

You can check if you have a consignment by visiting the Request Delivery page, enter your email address and click Check button.

If a consignment exists for your email, an OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your email. You can use this OTP to log into a virtual inbox, where you can view consignment details (but not the video itself).

Once you enter a valid OTP, the virtual inbox will automatically load, displaying all Rednote consignments assigned to you.

If no consignment exists, a message will appear on the screen informing you, and no OTP will be sent.

No. The virtual inbox is free and allows recipients to view consignments from multiple senders without needing to register or pay for Rednote services.
